FLOWN by Pirates of the Carabina.

Irreverent, bold and breathtaking, FLOWN tells the tale of a motley crew of incredible acrobats, aerialists, musicians and stuntmen trying to get a show on the road. But no-one seems prepared and mishaps, misfortune and misunderstandings get in the way. This is circus in which everything can go wrong, and most things do – calamity is just one step away.

FLOWN is confidently choreographed chaos as the performers fly, fling, spin and swing across the set in perfect time. Packed with thrills, extraordinary feats, belly laughs and fantastic music, FLOWN is big, beautiful and wonderfully bonkers. A delight, surprise and inspiration for the whole family!

‘Achingly beautiful and bonkers. Leaving with a smile on your face is the only option.’ The Scotsman ✭✭✭✭

‘Breathtakingly balletic, heart-breaking, masterful, hilarious and nail-biting.’ A Younger Theatre ✭✭✭✭

‘A completely jaw-dropping spectacle.’ Three Weeks Edinburgh

‘Simply gorgeous. Emotionally exquisite.’ The Times ✭✭✭✭

‘A delightful show brimming with skilful, funny and heart-warming performances.’ Total Theatre

  • ‘Subcase is an annual showcase of contemporary circus presenting mostly Nordic work. It’s a perfect opportunity to rub shoulders in a more personal and intimate way with international presenters and Nordic circus artists, in order to find new markets and co-producers as well as to exchange knowledge and experiences. The attending presenters are mostly from Europe, US and Canada but also some from Asia and South America.’
